We can plant more trees. We can use electric cars, not gasoline cars. We can also purify factories' smoke.

First of all, We need to have support from the communities and government. We have successfully invented many new technology that would help reduce pollution and solve environmental problems, however the cost are usually high because it is not mass produced yet. Money was the problem standing in the way of solving environmental problems. We now have solar power, wind power, Fuel Cell, Hydrogen Power, all these technologies exist, but we need to put it to use, it takes time adapting to new energy sources, it also requires huge amount of cash, but the cost will decrease as demand rises production method matures. I believe we can combat the situation very well, however time don't stop, we need to hurry up the process of adaptation to new technologies.
